IELTS Letter - Developing a Website

Write a letter to a company to ask about having them develop a website for your business. In your letter:

– Give a brief description of the business
– Explain what you’d like to be there on the website
– Provide some ideas on use of images on the web site.

Dear Sir/Ma’am

I am writing to you to seek assistance in developing a website for my business.

I am a home baker and have recently started my business, located in Delhi, India. The name of the company is “Woven Oven”. Bakery goods have a short shelf life, thus currently my clientele is based out of Delhi NCR only.

As per my imagination, I would like the website to have all the details presented in a very eye catching way. The user interface of the website should be such that, the clients do not need any help in navigating the website.

I believe, images are very powerful in selling a product, thus I really want the webpage to have plenty of images. I want a page about know your baker, which has an introduction and a picture of me, this way the clients would feel more connected to the business. The menu section should have the name of the cake hyperlinked to an image of the dish.

These are some of my basic requirements. I would love to hear your ideas on this as well.
