The bar chart illustrates the proportion of Australian children involved in certain leisure activities, based on their gender. Overall, it shows that almost every child participated in watching TV and videos.

To begin with, watching TV and videos was the most popular activity, with nearly 100% of both boys and girls being involved in it. Following that up to three quarter of the boys and half of the girls participated in bike riding and the same proportion were found picking up electronic or computer games as an activity. Skate boarding or roller blading and arts and crafts were the east popular among the boys, with only one third of them participating in these. Girls, on the other hand, were found to be more interested in arts and crafts, with around 50% of them participating in it, whereas, only a quarter took part in skate boarding or roller blading.
Hence, to sum it up, it can be seen that the majority of children in Australia were interested in watching TV and Videos, while the smallest proportion was found skate boarding or roller blading.
