The bar graph shows the number of car journeys into the city per day from 1996 to 2005.

The bar graph shows the number of car journeys into the city per day from 1996 to 2005.

The chart elucidates the number of journeys with car into the city center by residents and non-residents over ten years period. The x-axis shows the years separated from 1996 to 2005. The y-axis quantifies the number of journey per day.

In 1996, the number of residents’ journeys was near to 10.000 and remained reasonably stable throughout on 3 years later. From then on-wards, they fell by half approximately 5000 in number, then fluctuated in next six years but the general was indicated a downward tendency. Meanwhile, Non-residents journeys exhibited an increasing trend gradually in period of 1996 to 1999, and then fluctuated over 3 years later. In 2003, they dramatically decrease approximately less than 3000 and recovered slightly in the 2004 to 2005.

It can be concluded from the chart that the highest number of residents journeys was in period of 1996 to 1999 while the non-residents journeys in 1999 to 2002. However, the lowest quantity of both residents and non-residents journey was in 2003 to 2005.
