How is the IELTS CBT Listening Test Graded?

Hello.

When taking the online exam - does the computer marks automatically? Computers would have black and white answers. for example

The question was, what are the four advices given to stay healthy, I wrote as it was stated on the audio:

- Exercise.
- Wash hands.
- Get enough sleep.
- Wear warm clothes.

But the correct answers were:

- take regular exercise.
- wash hands regularly.
- get enough sleep.
- wrap up warmly.

I only got one correct, please help me, what is the formula?

I'm sure they will be graded within the system, not marked by humans. But I don't think anyone will know for sure how they are programmed to select answers.

We can only assume it's the same as for the paper based test, whereby if there are a few possible answers, all of those possible answers will be marked as correct.

You usually need to write down exactly what was said, not a variation of it.

Was the test you took an official IELTS Cambridge practice test? If not it's possible the test you took is not correct in the way it was grading.
